Fancy a new hobby learning to dance the Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot and Tango in the ?Old Fashioned Way?, or the hot latin rhythms of Cha-Cha, Rumba, Samba and Jive? Come and join Brian, a qualified teacher for 27 years and his wife Jackie, who will guide you gently through each of these dances so you can go anywhere and show off your talents. Beginners: No previous experience is necessary, we?ll start with the basics and gradually build on them. Improvers: You'll have done a little bit of dancing before and want better style and interesting variations. Week by week, in both classes, you?ll have a half hour ballroom class, a half hour latin class and an hours dance practice at the end. Each Wednesday it will run from 7.30pm to about 10.30pm, as follows:7.30 to 8.00: Improvers Latin8.00 to 8.30: Beginners Latin8.30 to 9.00: Improvers Ballroom9.00 to 9.30: Beginners Ballroom9.30 to 10.30: General practice dancing with occasional sequence dance instruction, such as the 'Square Tango', 'Mayfair Quickstep', 'Saunter Together' etc. Help yourself to free tea, coffee and squash in the intervals between dances. No need to book, just come along on the evening. £5 each (free tea and coffee provided).Note that we are presently closed.
